Alzheimer’s Support Group 4th Monday of each month Sitter Survival: Nov. 7th; 9 a.m. Cost is $24; registration is required. Please call Nurses-0n-Call at (816) 751-3000. Basic training for baby-sitters sixth grade or older. Class covers infant and child care including playtime, meal preparation, bed and bath time, discipline, safety, first aid and accident prevention. Heartsaver AED CPR: Nov. 10th; 6 p.m. This 2-hour course covers all skills you would need for the adult, child or infant victim. Skills taught include CPR, AED and choking management. This class is appropriate for anyone who is not a healthcare provider but needs certification for employment.
